Its no secret, trolling a single spreader bar with a few lures placed around it will produce strikes but you need a large bait spread to turn a school, consistantly get multiple hookups and put meat on the deck in short order. This is accomplished by using spreader bars, daisy chains and RDT Sport Dredges. Reel Draggin' Tackle offers complete trolling spread solutions for the price you pay for a single bar at some tackle shops.

This is the basic 5-Line Blue Fin Tuna Spread. This spread was specificially designed for smaller boats with small crews. However, has proven to be effective on any size boat. Most anglers start here when building their first Blue Fin spread, and expand from this point once they gain experence. - On a small spread like this, consistency and action are what is important. Reel Draggin' Tackle recommends that all of the lines complement each other. - Over the years we learn time and again how important a consistent spread is to generate multiple hook ups. This is why when you surf our store you see similar color and size patterns in all of our lures and rigs. When purchasing this spread, you can tell us what pattern you would like and we'll make sure your spread is consistant. If you are not sure about color, email us. We can tell you what has been reported to us as the mose effective colors for your area. - Run your long Rigger lines the furthese back. How far back depend on your area and how boat shy they are. DELMARVA to Hatteras it is common for the long lines to be back 600 to 900 feet.
