| Reel Draggin' Tackle offers replacement kits for all of our spreader bars and Bird bars. The kits follow the same item name as our Squid, with an RPK beginning (i.e. RPK01 indicates a replacement kit for any bar rigged with Squid Style 01). Each kit contains three replacement line rigs, ready to be clipped onto your bars. Why do we offer these? The squid, line, and terminal tackle are all picked for their offshore big game survivability. However, spreader bars, when properly used take a beating and by the end of the year they will probably be fairly chewed up and the line is sure to have a knick in it some where. Your bars need to be inspected after each offshore run and potential failure points need to be replaced. But that is not the only reason you should look at these kits. Surf our web often enough and you notice we preach that to be consistently successful you need multiple spreader bar color, size and stylr options at your finger tips at all times. These kits can help you achieve that goal. If your plan is to pull a three Bar Spread then purchase three bars all of the same color and style. Then, when its time to add more colors, just purchase three more RPKs of the color and style you want to add. They all have Coast Lock Snaps so each line can be unclipped and new ones added. This way, you only have to pay for the bar once. This is an efficient, cost saving and space saving way to add more capability.
