Spreader Bar

The Reel Draggin’ Tackle™ Signature Series Spreader Bars are unique in several ways.  Our first and most important objective has been to assemble a trolling system that only uses the highest quality components.  Being avid fishermen ourselves, we wanted a product that produces strikes, holds up to the saltwater environment, and holds up (as well as possible) against the game fish that we all like to target.

Secondly, we've done research.  The crew of the Round-Tuit has tested many spreader bars and brands over the years.  Along with our first hand knowledge of spreader bars, we solicited input in 2004 from professional Mates and Captains with years of knowledge and experience fishing the North East Canyons for Tuna and other game fish, while pushing their tackle beyond practical limits.  The overwhelming opinions were to downsize and lighten up the tackle.  The results were more strikes, more fish in the boat, and more fun fighting the fish.

There is no question that spreader bars put more fish in the boat. However, all spreader bars are not equal. Reel Draggin' Tackle Signature Series Spreader Bars have been modified several times over the past few years in an effort to put more fish in the boat with a more efficient spreader bar. Bigger is not better (consistent feedback we received this past year from professional and recreational fisherman support this).

Whatever trolling spread you adopt and whatever bars you put in the water, our research and high quality product will draw more tuna when Reel Draggin' Tackle Signature Series Spreader Bars are in your spread. Reel Draggin' Tackle is always a click away, we look forward to your comments, recommendations or general fishing discussion.
