Details: Left the Ocean City dock at 5:00am and during the month of August we fished for BFT on the Hambone and around the Hotdog before pushing off to the Baltimore in search of Yellow Fin and Long Fin.. Our Blue Fin spread consisted of:
- 2 long Long lines off of the out riggers 900 feet back with Blue/White Slammers over hoos
- 2 long lines of the riggers with green Slammer Bird Bars
- 2 Short Riggers with green squid bars or rainbow bars
- Off the corner, a Planer Rod rigged Carolina Style pulling an RDT Sport Dredge
at about 40 feet, and two Draggin Slayer Jets.

In early August it was fairly easy to limit out on BFT on the Hambone early and push into the Baltimore. The yellow Fin were scattered and tough to find. We did not get too many multiple knockdowns, and in general it was tough fishing. Later in the month the warm water pushed in and the Blue Fin departed. We continued to troll hard looking for yellow fin and waiting for them to show up. Out last trip of August was a really tough ride, we ended the day by stopping at several pots and bailing a total of four Mahi. The Tuna bite has been really tough out of Ocean City. On a bright note, we have had more Marlin in the spread than ever before. Nearly every trip we had several marlin in the spread throughout the day.

We are looking forward to a change in September.
