The success of planer boards is realized because of the presentation of more bait and further from the boat. No matter where you fish, lakes, bays, in shore or offshore a key parameter to success is the presentation of more bait. Our Tandem Rigs were designed with that in mind.

4oz and 12oz Packman heads. Rigged with 130# Momoi Blue Diamond line which consistently breaks at over 244#. The 4 oz Packman is rigged to a 12 foot leader while the 12 oz Packman is rigged to a shorter 4 foot leader.

If our leader lenghts don't work for you, we will custom rig your tandem set. Long leader lengths are limited to 20 feet. If you want it longer, email us. As a general rule, we use a 1:3 ratio. For example, a four foot short leader gets a 12 foot long leader, or 5/15 is popular.
