INSTRUCTIONS FOR MARINE EXTERIOR SALT REMOVAL

EXTERIOR WASH
For removing salt from boats, trailers, personal watercraft, wet suits,
towing vehicle and other equipment.
Salt-Away Concentrate, Mixing Unit, and Hose Spray Nozzle Required.

1. Remove 4-ounce cup from Mixing Unit and fill with Salt-Away. Be careful not to lose O-ring. If you have just flushed your salt water engine, no need to fill again with Salt-Away.

2. Replace cup. Always make sure O-ring is seated in the groove on top of the cup before replacing.

3. Connect garden hose to Salt-Away Mixing Unit. Mixing Unit is in 'off' position.

4. Attach garden spray nozzle onto other end of Mixing Unit.

5. Turn on water. (Mixing Unit has been tested to withstand water pressure up to 60 psi. Higher pressure may cause unit to malfunction.)

6. Turn Mixing Unit to 'Salt-Away' (ON) position.

7. Gently spray or mist Salt-Away onto your boat, personal watercraft, trailer, towing vehicle and other equipment. Salt-Away removes the salt, not heavy water pressure. No need to scrub.

8. Turn Mixing Unit to the 'rinse' position. Rinse off equipment. For excellent corrosion control, reapply to trailer and exposed metal surfaces and do not rinse off.

If procedures are followed as described above, a 4-ounce application will flush an engine and wash off a boat and trailer up to 35 feet in length.

Tip: Using quick-disconnect devices are convenient for Mixing Unit connections.
