Hi, I am Capt. Steve Miller from Block Island Fishing Charters. A couple of years ago I started looking for a satellite phone with a hands free/speakerphone/docking station that was mounted in a waterproof case. I couldn't find any, so I bought the components, and made my own!

I also offer the plain satellite cell phone with manuals and home chargers, in brand new Pelican 1200 cases. Globalstar has verified that each phone is ready to activate. Included with each purchase is the form necessary for activation, and contact information for Satellites Direct, where all of our phones are activated. They are super helpful. As of Jan 2012, Globalstar service is $39.99 a month, for UNLIMITED voice and data. They have improved their service dramatically; even in the last year they have launched many satellites, and the coverage is now 90%. These phones, though unused, are not "brand new". The were surplus phones, tested, battery charged, then put away; they have never been activated or used in any other way. When you see them, you will see that they look brand new. We could describe them as in new condition, or unused.

The plain GSP-1600 Satellite cell phone is packed in a brand new Pelican 1200 case, and the extreme kits are in unused second hand cases. For all practical purposes there is no difference, except the unused cases don't come with a warranty card. We think the language is important; it's crucial in our business to let people know up front exactly what it is they are getting. Our reputation on the waterfront is the best advertising money can never buy. It is important that our anglers know up front where we are getting our gear.

We make nearly all of our own trolling lures. Reel Draggin’ Tackle®, LLC owns over 1000 saltwater and freshwater lure molds. Our Spreader Bars, Daisy Chains and other rigged lures are done right in our shop. If you have custom rigging requirements, all you have to do is shoot us an EMAIL, and we’ll meet whatever your needs are. Our rigging is top notch. We use the best crimps, very high quality hardware and monofilament.
